Osvaldo is a traditional UX Designer for all of Tropix’ various web property – from the B to B websites to the entertaining editorial of Cubaness. He is a specialist in structured and programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP. Osvaldo meets individually with each department head, and draws out a web strategy for the build of eachs respective platform. This includes creating wireframes and integrations needed before the team of programmers execute the web build. Currently, he is developing a new application for Cubaness.
His career began at the University of Computer Sciences where he was tasked with working on various content, including promotional videos for the University Games and the launch of REDCUBA, a Cuban Search Engine project.
His website work has extended beyond Cuba, with international clients including AUJCT (Uruguayan Japanese Association for Technical Cooperation), CIARP (Ibero-American Congress on Pattern Recognition), DIP Marie (Integrated Project Management National Botanical Garden of Cuba), ANEC (National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba), Frank País Orthopedic Hospital and the National Archive, among others.
Osvaldo is a cornerstone amongst the software and content departments. A newly minted father at home, he is also dynamic worker, determined to solve any issues that arise, always keeping calm under pressure.
