Darsi Fernández is our Legal Advisor and Chief Compliance Officer. She provides legal and juridical counselling to the CEO and to other areas of the Company with the help of the appropriate lawyers, notaries or counselling services. She participates in the discussions and the design of the Company´s business strategies, assessing the opportunities and the risks from the legal and juridical points of view.

Darsi is a Suma Cum Laude law graduated of the University of Havana, where she was a renowned student leader, a fact that helped her develop her sense of responsibility and her leadership skills from a young age.

She is extroverted, intuitive and charismatic, with great interpersonal skills and capable of simultaneously carrying out a large number of responsibilities and projects. For more than 20 years she has been a representative of the Spain’s Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE) (General Society of Authors and Editors) in Cuba and an advisor to the Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC) since its formation. She is also a  founding member of the creative team at Magazine AM:PM, a digital magazine on Cuban music. She´s worked as an executive producer, associate or coordinator of various records and has originated, promoted and produced a number of Cuban music concerts and events in Cuba and abroad.

She loves reading essays and quality fiction books. She highly regards the sense of humor of her counterparts. She is a constant activist for animal rights and against gender violence.
