Viviana Díaz is the editor of the Cubaness calendar, always keeping it up to date with the understanding of event curation for a broad audience. On a weekly basis, she delivers a list of best events within Havana as well as other provinces. She also writes, reviews, and oversees the freelancers work.
At 18 years old, she began her career journey after graduation, working in Communication departments at both INFOTUR (the Cuban Tourism Information Company) and the Leo Brouwer Office. At 23 years old, she moved on to be an official reporter for the International News Agency Prensa Latina. She evolved her skills further by serving as a correspondent for Prensa Latina in La Paz, Bolivia.
Vivi is a beautiful expression of the Cuban woman — intelligent, vigorous, and creative. She is blunt, and likes to call things by their name. Her enthusiasm and reliable nature offers our staff a safe colleague we can always count on.
