Taymí Céspedes is our Chief Administrative and Finance Officer. She has worked for more than 20 years in national and international environments providing her with a depth of professional knowledge and know-how. Together with her team she works in the administration and monitoring of all contracts and commitments of the Company. She is also responsible for the budgets of all departments and projects and for the preparation of all management and financial reports. She ensures that the accounting and fiscal practices of Tropix are maintained at world class level standards.
She has an entrepreneurial and practical spirit. After graduating from the University of Havana she started her professional career at Cubanacán S.A, one of the leading tourist companies in the country. In the late 90’s she was part of Commercial Consolidators Corp., a holding company in Canada, where her position as financial controller included the financial management of this Vancouver and New York Stock Exchanges-listed company. It also included working closely with PWC, Ernst Young, KPMG and Mintz & Partners.
Before she joined our team, she was Manager of Accounting and Finances at Havana’s International School for nine years. Her previous work experience also includes working as an accountant for Recambios Caribes, in its Kia Motors Division.
She enjoys dancing and laughs eagerly. She is an independent woman and the proud mother of three.
