Grettel Jiménez-Singer Chief Creative Officer / Editor-in-Chief “Cubaness”

Grettel Jiménez-Singer is the Chief Creative Officer/Editor-in-Chief  “Cubaness”. Her main responsibility is to ensure that all content that is shown on any of Tropix’s platforms are content-rich and have visual consistency. She also seeks to reshape and repurpose original content so that it can be used across these different platforms.

She has an experience of more than 20 years in narration in editorial, TV and digital platforms. She is an award-winning author of several novels, stories, essays and children´s books. She has been the executive producer of more than 100 audiovisual materials with a cultural content, and she was responsible for the launching, strategy and creation of content for MTV Latin America’s website. She is the editor of her own blog mujerongas.com dedicated to the issue of women, which also publishes content on the daily life in Cuba.

A prolific cultural promoter, Grettel is capable of organizing teams to create attractive content efficiently. Her home is wherever she is. Her world is full of books, films, corners yet to be discovered, large and small trees, and loads of music and succulent delicacies. Her life oscillates between delirious laughs and quarrels with her two super hormonal, brilliant and curious daughters.
